I am looking for a normal Z3 diff, a NON LSD one. Ideally in the Bucks area.

I have the LSD one on my car, and it has the dreaded clunk, it will need a rebuild, and I want to replace it until I can sell a kidney to pay for the rebuild. Probably never. 3500 to rebuild an LSD is just disgusting

£3500!! That is seriously pricey! It feels crazy that’s just for a Rebuild

if it’s the clutch pack type diff it looks a straight forward job from a YouTube video I’ve seen. I can’t find that video at the moment but here’s a basic build to show you what’s involved if your want to save some cash

I’m sure @Lee at the Zedshed has rebuilt a diff before maybe ask for a quote.

Thing is, the LSD in the 2.2, 2.8 and 3.0 is the type 188 and all non LSD units are the smaller Type 168. That means the driveshafts and propshaft are the wrong length.

You're better off buying a good used LSD for 800 quid or whatever.
