Repairing a 1996 Z3 that got rear-ended. Is anyone parting out a BLACK (hoping to not have to paint) car with the following parts?

Looking for:
96-98 BMW Z3 E36/7 ROADSTER REAR TRUNK DECK LID OEM
1996-1998 BMW Z3 Driver Side Taillight Assembly / OEM / Z3007
1996-98 BMW Z3 REAR LEFT QUARTER FENDER PANEL 1.9 DRIVER SIDE 1996 1997 1998

I would prefer to buy all at once to keep shipping low.

Try talking to the re-body guys. They should have all you need and from the same car.

Tony,

Excuse my ignorance. Might be a case of being separated by a common language lol. Do you mean to call the body shop that declared my car a total loss? If not, what is re-body guys?

If you’re in the US maybe they have a different name. Over here in the UK these are the guys who buy a Z3, strip all the body panels (usually except the doors) and fit a “new” fibre glass body shell so that the car resembles an old Ferrari or other, consequently they end up with the original metal body panels and often want to sell them on to help offset some of the costs. If you click on the Forums tab at the top left of the page, then scroll down to The BMW Z Roadster& Coupe Range section, at the bottom of that section you will find Z Rebody. Have a look in there and you will see what I mean. HTH.

Tony.

Ahhh. We call them kit cars where they use the frame of a car to make it look like something else. Didn't know Z3s had them.
