One of the advantages of living in Swansea then where everything is cheaperIt would cost a lot more than £200. I just had a 2 stage professional polish and that was 300 just for the body. If I wanted the whole car doing to within an inch of its life it would of been around 6 to 700
No not at the moment bills, all these gadgets ate far to tech for@brilie is your alarm monitored ? If not then get an Auto dialler so it phones upto 4 telephone numbers. Also if you get CCTV you can set parameters so it only triggers in a certain area and have it call your mobile also or even have it linked to your alarm

A couple of points from experience. No not at the moment bills, all these gadgets ate far to tech for
Me
But now I know could look into it
Thanks Brian
Sounds like a case of too much informationA couple of points from experience.
Setting the sensitive areas has to be set up carefully. You don't want triggers from cars or pedestrians going past. Cats and birds are likely to trigger emails too. A neighbours cat that jumps over a gate right under my camera at 3am most mornings. Don't really want to be woken up because of next doors cat
You need to be able to switch notifications on and off easily. When you're out washing the car you'll come back to hundreds of emails from your camera.
I have my camera send a number of images on each trigger to a folder on a NAS drive that has limited space allocated (50GByte) when its triggered. I can go back and review all triggers for several months at a time. I just have to go and delete them every now and again to free up space.
If I had a camera where you wouldn't expect anyone to be, then I'd set that up to email me while on holiday, but the camera facing front gets dozens of innocent triggers every day.

Once they are set up you can forget about them. Its the setting up that is the frustrating bit. Rather than discount them, get someone else to help set it up when you've explained what it is you want and where its going to be used.Sounds like a case of too much information![]()
