In 1997 I test drove a Z3. I liked everything about it except the power. I test drove a variety of Roadsters and in 1998 I bought a brand new C5 Corvette convertible! (I still have it.) Soon after, I found out BMW was building M Roadsters! I just couldn't justify buying another car so soon. My mistake! Ever since I've wanted one. Fast forward to Dec. 2016...my wife needed a new car. Her M3 was was pretty well on its last legs and costing a fortune to maintain. Unbeknownst to me, she had spotted a one owner very low mile M Roadster for sale! It had a couple of very minor issues but, it came with every maintenance record and receipt from when it was a puppy to present day. After a couple weeks chasing parts and a new rag top she's finally joined the stable! By the way, it's the exact same color and interior as the Z3 I test drove in 1997!

As rare as they are here in America, luck really played in the colour choice! In the five years they were produced here, in America, only 2,078 were Estoril Blue! Thanks for the warm welcome!
