The 2016 London to Brighton Classic, Kit and Sports Car run meets up at the Brooklands Motor Museum this year and sets off from there. So @NuttyHazel and I are planning to do it again. I have booked a 10:00 to 10:30 start time myself.

I have negotiated a small discount £89 instead of £95 and we have a discount booking code which is “ZRoadster” when you are booking and paying online. If you book it any other way, i.e. by telephone or post please do not forget to say you are with Zoadster.org

Online what you do is you go through the booking process in the normal way then on the payments page there is a box for Promotional code once you enter ZRoadster click on the check button and your “ZRoadster” should disappear but if you check you will find that you have a £6.00 discount applied.

Here is the web link to do an online booking https://geclassicmotor.flameconcepts.systems/BfPKpnaeACQAKPzVS8m8WnWqDdN9BGge

Hazel and I have booked into the Woking Hotel which we managed to get for £42.75 per room without Breakfast etc. We booked it on www.booking.com but I think we got the last two at that price. anyone facies joining us is welcome we are planning to travel up early on the Saturday and have a look round the Museum and are hoping that someone that is joining us from local can suggest a good pub for the Saturday evening to get something to eat, drink, be merry and chin wag with anyone that want to join us.

If you want to enter by post a Zroadster.org entry form is included at the bottom of this post.

Yes it will be a shame to miss you I hope whatever you already have planned is a good one catch up another time, somewhere along the timeline this year I have no doubts.

Regards

Duncan

I have already booked for this, I only live a few miles from Brooklands, have to see if we can get a similar start time.

When you did with luck you quoted Zroadster and got the discounted price it has been sorted since before Xmas but I was waiting for the electronic system to be finished. if not ring Stephen and let him know but I am pretty sure he has you down as from us.
I went for the 10:00 to 10:30 because last year did the early slots and missed a lot of chatting to people.

Guys and Gals Just back from 5 weeks in the USA and have a message from the organiser of the London to Brighton saying that we have 10 additional places reserved for Zroadster.org. The numbers are getting close to filling up for the event and soon he would like to release the ones he has reserved for us so further interest should be registered sooner rather than later please.

Hello all, I just managed to secure my ticket via the online booking!
Do we have a list of who is attending?
I won't be staying in a hotel as I live in Surrey (Leatherhead).
I am so excited! Always wanted to attend this event :)

HI Guys and Gals

MY apologies for the lack of information on this and also for the fact that unfortunately for medical reasons both Hazel and I have had to Withdraw from this event this year. I had hoped my operation would be over before now but it has been delayed twice since I got back from the USA. I will be banned from driving for the period 20th May to 20th June this year and maybe longer depending on recovery time. It is nothing serious just a hip replacement but apparently during the initial recovery it is important not to get the hip bent more than 90 degree's.

I am afraid that I have not got a list of those that have signed up by forum name and do not feel that I should post actual names which I could get from Gemini events.

If anyone else wants to post that they are attending I will happily post on the second post the list of forum names. (I have put the two I know of up)

There are still spaces if anyone wants to book but they will close off soon. (I will check with Steve the latest date and report back)

@Cathia777 the only known other posted on the thread is @mwpe but according to Steve at Gemini events there are others registered

Hope your recovery is quick and painless. Too bad you have to cancel this event. A friend had his hip done last week and walked out of hospital the following evening so hopefully you too will be back to driving soon! JIM

I hope all goes well with the op @La_vida_diver. My father is due to have his done in June. Shame tour going to miss the event buy health must come first.

@oldcarman, & @Grumpy, thanks for your solicitations.

The event itself is still a go but it is just my involvement that has had to be curtailed.

I likewise hope the recovery is quicker than they are persuading me but I have been told in no uncertain terms that my leg must not be raised above 90 degrees to my trunk until the bone growth has established which will be some weeks. They are not using cemented implants on me. I have also be told I will be walking out of the hospital, in fact they have said I will be walking the afternoon of the operation because they are doing it under local anaesthetic. (I do not need any info thanks, scared enough as it is.)

I spoke to Steve at Gemini events and he has informed me that the official deadline for the event is closed so the list of attendees they print and certificates for the event are closed but if anyone is keen he may be able to slot then in without some of the "trimmings" so if anyone is interested contact Gemini events in the next week and Steve and will try and make it happen.

Hi guys,
I spoke to Stephen today and he said there will be 5 of us, so I was wondering who the other 3 people?
I was thinking we the 5 of us would like to meet up before somewhere in Surrey and we can drive down together to Weybridge?
I live 20 mins drive from the the Mercedes Benz World (but lucky enough work just behind the Brooklands circuit)

Gutted only just come across this :( missed last years one that Zedders attended

Hi , is there any room left for me , Tim

@BMBabe @Tim beard Yes guys there is still a chance as long as you don't want the plaque and your names in all the documentation please contact Steve at Gemini Events on 01237472331, but do it soon as he can only do it for a short while.

For information Hip operation went Ok and I am now out of hospital just in case anyone is interested. TTFN no driving however for 4 to 6 weeks allowed. Bummer not that I could mind you at the moment.
