Morning

The guys at the BMW specialists said the locking wheel nuts need replacing on my Z.

Lots on eBay.

However where would you suggest I purchase a good set?

Thanks

Like Paul said, when was the last time you saw a car up on bricks? Last time I saw it was early 1997.

Its a bit dodgy round your area Richard ... ;) I have some brand new Febi ones..unused still in the packet if you fancy them. I am not going to use them now I have rear spacers

Love the plastic covers i have on mine, new wheel studs look rusty after a few days.

I use the VAG style caps as they take paint well and fill the holes.

Personally I'd throw them in the bin, nothing but a pain in the arse. No one is going to pinch your wheels these days unless you have an expensive set of after market wheels or a lovely set of Alpina Dynamics, if you do have the Alpina Dynamics let me know your location    =))=))

As others have said, wheels don't get stolen anymore.
However the bolts can get damaged, the key can get damaged or lost...

Locking bolts are way more hassle than they're worth - just replace with standard ones.

I lost the lockers when I fitted spacers. I fitted VW style nut/bolt covers and painted them to match the wheel colour. You can't tell if locking bolts are fitted or not. These covers take paint well and are circa £4.00 (for 20) on eBay.
