Bit of a long shot I know nut is there anyone near Sheffield with a locking wheel bolt socket that looks like this.

Mine is knackered so I need a replacement or at least the loan of one just to get the bolts off - they won't be going back on.
I went down to Sytner in Sheffield this morning but they told me they are non-standard bolts despite agreeing with me that they had seem similar on an E85 before.
Anyway no joy with the dealer and they recommended contacting Mr Locking Wheelbolt - I didn't know that was even a thing but thought I'd check on here first

A bit late now but, if you ever successfully get these type off DO NOT put them back on. Bin them. When was the last time you saw a car on blocks with the wheels missing? I don’t have them on mine simply because I never leave it anywhere where some Scrote could steal the wheels.

Totally agree with this. Wheel theft is a crime of the 90s - doesn't happen anymore as druggies can't stuff them in their coats and leg off with them.
However loss or damage of the locking key is all too common.
More hassle than they're worth.

Majority of security wheel bolt (to give them their proper name) keys are damaged by tyre fitters (and Mechanics) using impact wrenches to tighten them right up, instead of running the nut/bolt up then torquing to the correct torque. If it’s were done correctly the “lockers” would be fine.
Just before Christmas a mate came down from Co. Durham in his 1 series. There were no lockers on the front wheels but a 17mm single hex. Impact socket almost rounded the bolts off they were so worn by use of a worn out socket on an Impact wrench. I had to use a 30” cracking bar and stand on it to loosen the bolts. This is the result of a moron acting as a wheel fitter.:rage::rage:

If nothing works and you are willing to sacrifice the bolt and the tool, clean well with brake cleaner, dry and JB Weld them together.
let half an hour pass and then give it a try.
if that doesnt work then drill that b-tch out.

I took them off my cars but I have had success in the past by dressing the head with a needle file then gently tapping the socket in place with a hammer to secure it before attempting to loosen it. Good luck, hope you get them off without too much trouble

All sorted - went down the route of hammering a 12 point 19mm socket over the nut then ripping it off. This also seemed to be the method most favoured on YouTube.
The only problem being that I needed to get 3 of the bloody things off and each time the process ended up ruining the socket - fortunately the lad who I take my SAAB'S to carried out the removal so I slipped him £20 for his efforts and the sockets he ruined.
So no more locking nuts and I now just need to get some replacement bolts as all 4 wheels are currently held on with 4 bolts rather than 5

If you want to measure the thread down to the widest part of the taper, I will measure these, then we'll know. I think they will be long enough as the standard one do protrude through the hubs. As long as you have full thread in the hub it is enough.

When I said base of the cone I did mean the narrow part at the end of the thread mate.
