He say no. But he can't see me from Cardiff.

Chuffin' frustrating, being able to see the hills but not to get up them. And by the time I can get over there they'll be rammed with tourists. Again.

Just out of interest do you still have to wear face masks over in the UK ?

Nope we're all still under stay local, unless you're on an 'Essential Journey'.
By the looks of the traffic around here there is an awful lot doing essential journeys.
In the words of Jim Royale "essential journey, my arse"=))

While inside public buildings, ie Shops, fuel stations, ordering take away food (inside) and Post Office etc. The one thing I will not miss.

Tony.

Wales is under a further 3 weeks lockdown so only local travel for essential travel, work, food shopping, nothing changed here anyone stopped and found lacking a valid reason faces an instant fixed penalty notice and so they should. No good winging after offenders get caught, the law and its rules over this have been clearly explained.

We went around 30 miles on Monday and then on Tuesday this week.

The X1 is nearly 3 years old and needs its first MoT,so combined that with End of Warrantee check and change brake fluid,
all done at the dealers. Great pity they did not repair the boot , which has a habit of not opening , or jamming half way up/down.
They said it was OK , but that they did not have time as they were busy. They knew what it was in for when I booked it in over 4 weeks before.

One puzzle is why the first brake fluid lasts 3 years but all subsquent ones only last 2 years.

We declined the loan car , as we keep away from anythink not ours.Gave sons DMax a bit of use. We are the only users since last October,he is
stuck down in London. Fortunatly he gets tested twice weekly.

The New Forest roads are as busy as a Easter holiday period already. The retired folks have had their jab and are now OK, or so they think.

Yep we do HT but only inside, although it's been claimed up north their all getting their pics taken with masks on so they can tell their kids how hard it was in the corona virus lockdown years, when we really know it was a defo improvement to there looks. =)) =))=))
Thanks for asking @hard top you've made my day.
