Location Of Members

Following on from Gazza's suggestion about names to signatures. It would be good if members could put there location under the avatar so other members could see if anyone is local to them. Of course their could be reasons why some would not want to do this.

Great idea Ron,

The option is available through 'User Control Panel' in the upper right corner of the site. Select profile, and fill out the location box and click 'Submit'

Regarding the signature space, can anyone tell me how to put a pic in there.I've managed to put text in OK but can't see how to do a pic. I never got around to doing it on .net and of course there's no 'help' I can look at now.

Sorry if it's obvious but I'm still a bit shaky with computers :ymblushing:

You will have got to the correct place already (User Control Panel >> Profile >> Edit Signature)

You need upload your picture to something like Photobucket, Flickr etc. They will give you some tag links which you post in your signature box. See below.

Then your image will display.

Thanks very much. I think I have a Photobucket account but have not used it for ages. I'll take some new pics this weekend and have a go.

Once again, thanks for all you're doing for your fellow zedders. Now I'm retired I will hopefully have more time to visit this new forum and be a bit more active. Who knows, I may even get to my first meet (but not 'til the weather improves as I'm seriously considering hibernating along with Zed until the spring!)
