I thought I would bring this forward from an earlier thread. At least one member thought it would be a giggle so here it is.
"What are the big mistakes you have made in your life"
I started it off by "confessing" to the big mistake of selling my 1954 MG TF many years ago for the sum of £400 when today they are fetching money in the tens of thousands.
That was a BIG mistake

The stage is yours.

Not going to Berlin before the Wall came down  not like I didn't have the opportunity as I was in Germany 86-90. Oh, and letting Yvonne drive my Fiesta RS Turbo to work as she and her work colleagues would blast around Thetford at lunch times all screaming "do the whizz thing again" :arghh: and then she managed to batter one side when putting it in the garage

Other than that, all is well and living the dream :)

Possibly scrapping my old banger because it needed new tyres. It was a Jaguar Mk V. Or not buying an immaculate XK 120 when offered one from the Chequered Flag in Nottingham for £350:00d.

When I passed my driving test my driving instructor asked me if I was interested in buying her Sunbeam Alpine roadster. She wanted £175 for it but I'd just bought my Vauxhall Viva and didn't have the cash

I recall nothing much I regret either car wise or anything much else.
There may be trouble ahead .........
Was a bad day. A long recovery for Gail. Despite sitting with the engine and gearbox where my feet should have been I escaped with a broken tooth.

Very lucky both. Out of interest, what car were you in as that's some impact?

It was a Peugeot 405 @Andy McDonnell
@Gail a good car in it's day safety wise if I recall. My sister had a head on in one years ago (not as high impact as yours though) and the airbag failed to deploy. No major damage done.
