Level 2 detailing day

Still honeymooning with my new girl! The guy I bought her from literally had 15 high end cars in 3 different garages. Claire was his 12th in the rotation and apparently got rode hard and put away wet.

Now, being my only girls she is getting all the attention she deserves. For instance, this door lock. Had to share the before and after. Safe to say it was never cleaned until today. ...the gas cap area too, should have taken before and after of that too. Little things make a big difference!

Every little helps

Latch and springs were as wretched as the door lock holes. 20+ years of crud, removed. They really cleaned up beautifully what a difference to the eye
My strut towers and some other top facing metal components had some sort of resin that had been sprayed and dripped into a shell like mess that I had to soak with Goo Gone and scrape with a plastic edge to get off. Took a while, was a true Mr Miyagi wax on/wax off exercise. It looked almost from the factory so was wondering if anyone else has had the same?
