as the picture i use led side light and want headlight bulbs that will compliment them....anyone used uprated white bulbs?

Not a 'Z' but I've got Philips LED 501's for sidelight duties and Philips Xteme vision +130 for dipped beam on the van - both obviously significantly better than standard.
 
do the Philips Xteme vision +130 compliment the LEDs?
im looking to get all the lights matching

Yes I'd say so - both giving a 'white' light, made the standard bulbs look yellow in comparison.
When looking at LED & Xenon it's all about the Lumens both in terms of performance and how White or Blue the light appears..little different with halogens however as most don't list lumens just a performance '%'
 
A guy at work has recently changed all the front bulbs on his Jag Wayne, I'll ask him for the source on Monday. He likes to run with his front fogs on full time (to55er) so they all had to match.

osram nightbreakers. use them in my wife's Impreza and they give a nice white light and illuminate things almost as good as the factory HIDs in my Impreza. i don't know what they are like in a zed as i have standard bulbs (i only use it on sunny days and in day light)
 
I put cheapy Ring Xenon's in my work van, made a helluva difference over standard halogen's.

Even though I've seen the odd online review knocking them, they are significantly better than standard. I'm sure there are better at higher prices, but I'd say they are good value for money. My brother was impressed and has since fitted them in his 325i and 911 porker.

The Z will get a set, eventually.

Has anybody tried the LED headlight bulbs that are becoming available or are they only any good with the projector lenses?

Sheila has LED headlights on her 1 series, fitted as standard, and they are white might even be better than the Xenons in mine.
