Write Up Ledhills the return from zedfest

Hi all this is a continuing of my zedfest 638 miles thread as i ran out of picture attachments .
So we had got as far as Abington services only about 70 miles from home. Time for a minor detour to check out a possible cruise route really glad i did.

After a few miles i came across this village.

After leaving Wanlockhead the road and views spectacular. I think the evening long shadows didn't do any harm in creating a wonderful few miles of heather in glorious purples and green fern

Next 2 pictures i reckon I'm going to put in as calendar 2017 entries

And then that was us home 342 miles on the day all top down
638 miles total worth every one had a fab couple of days.

I've really enjoyed following your travels Steve, definitely put those pictures in for the calendar mate, stunning! Great that you both enjoyed coming down to Leicester just to talk about cars, and that includes @Brian H too. I met a lot of people on Sunday and it really is nice to put a face to a name. I have to say I'm really envious of those open rolling and sweeping roads.
Some bright spark had the idea of planting hedges and trees along all the roads down here!
