Changed my halogen Halos to LED this morning look far better. Only took 5 minutes each side....One looks slightly brighter on this photo but its the camera angle and both are just as bright. Very happy with the result. The top photo is on DRL's. Lower photo is in daylight with xenons on

Hi Tinderbox

Really interested in this upgrade for mine, can you give me a bit more detail as to what is involved, or direct me to a link?

Thanks
KF

Hi KF.
I got these for mine. The price is for 2 set's of 2 x bulbs. Just remove the old halogen bulb and slot in these. The extra wires just fold up in to the area where the bulb sits

Cheers

Dave

Thanks for that info Dave, appreciate it. My F31 has really nice super bright halos, and hopefully get the same effect with these. What are those extra wires for then?

They are not as bright as the newer led lights as they are led Halos and with these the one bulb has to light both Halos inner and outer, but do look better then the stock halogen bulb. I'm not sure why there are the extra wires etc. Tbf

Thought that might be the case, but still look way better as you say. I assume by buying two pairs, there is a pair each for the 2x NS and 2x OS?

No, 1 set has 2 x bulbs and you only need 1 bulb each side. I just bought 2 sets so i had a spare set of the same type.

Ah, that explains it! Probably a good idea, especially if you are happy with those particular LEDS.

Cheers for that Pete

LEDs fitted today, nice quick job (5 mins a side) and really pleased with the result. As expected not quite as bright as my F31, however a vast improvement. Next job!
