The leather on my seats feels harder/drier than i think it should, i also have quite a few cracks.
I know the seats are 22 years old now, so it's about time I treated them to a bit of a pamper
I have just ordered a jar of Connolly's hide food, has any body else used this or any other product to keep their seats nice and supple?
Also any tips on the best way of administering if you have found one, like fingers or a cloth

Give it a good deep clean with saddle soap and a nail brush, then build up with a conditioner. Gliptone liquid leather, smells like new leather too. But not a cow ;)

I'll get a bar of saddle soap and clean seats first and than I will massage the hide food in. The leather should absorb it over 24 hours apparently.
It does say on the jar to try out on an a section of leather out of view. So I'll treat Mrs Tearoom to a back rub first.

Well I have to say Connolly's Hide Care is good stuff, fully recommend it
The jar was £16 and i felt it was a bit of a gamble, but i have done both my seats now and I was pretty liberal with the application as my seats were so dry and cracked. The jar still looks full, so even if i do this process 2 or 3 times a year it will last for ages.
The seats absorbed the balm over a couple of days, it was still quite sticky after 24 hours, but now the seats feel completely different.
It will not hide the cracks, but they won't get any worse.
I will do this at least twice a year from now on.

Looks like your seats have had an easier life than mine. Still I try and make sure they don't get any worse.

As I said I use Autoglym leather care kit work there's no point in using leather filler for the crakes as you can't get I proper colour match just use the cleaner in the kit to lift dirt from the crakes
Hope this helps
