Hi all ,

I have a 2. 0 facelift car , I have had the po170 and po173 codes'#, plus misfire on 1,3 and 2 cylinders . so normal thing to do, vac pipes replaced and dissa valve .
how ever she's a bit sluggish and from what I can see from the exhaust very very lean . i have cleared the codes on my code reader but I assume these will
been short term codes not long term codes ( they haven't come back ) but we are still running very lean and drinking quite a bit of fuel.

any suggestions ? cheers

Hi I Have checked the vac hoses , but still does solve the lean ? if there's a leak in the vac hose (more air getting in) surely the sensors would compensate and add more fuel

It can only add so much before it Max's out.

With a hot engine at idle, check the 4 fuel trims (2 short term and 2 long term). Let us know what they are
