Leaky roof

hi guys....My soft top has developed a small leak at both the drivers side and passanger side where the roof locks into place. I have checked the seals and there are no real sings of wear and tear. The drip seems to be coming from where the pin goes into before being tightened by the callipers. Is there any way to tighten the hood as I had an MG before and you could tighten the hood with two screw bolts attached to the screwed rod that attached the hood to the windscreen frame.

Many thanks.

hi Jan,

You can tighten the latches so you get a better seal on the windscreen. Details here https://zroadster.org/articles/bmw-z3-roof-latch-adjustment.19/

The only other place it comes in that area is the top of the a pillars, and there is an guide on here for that. Let me know if you need me to dig it out.

Just spent 2hrs replacing the gearstick surround had to take out the full centre consul. Bit of a nightmare to be honest especially if you have big hands trying to access the screws behind the heater controls.
