Any ideas on how to repair this? It looks as if the plastic flange which sits inside the hose and slides onto the brass tube projecting from the radiator has deteriorated.
Tightening the jubilee clip doesn’t work.

I would maybe try cutting the knackered compressed end off the flexi and retightening the clip to see if that helps. Had small leak in the same area and that sorted it for me.

Unfortunately it is probably the beginning signs of the plastic end tanks of the radiator failing. The lifecycle of BMW radiators is between 5 and 10 years, replacements are widely available from Nissens, Mahle-Behr, and BMW ($$$).

I think you are probably right. Been quoted £300 for a replacement radiator! (UK)

Is that for a BMW or Nissens or Mahle-Behr? Here in the states that is getting real close to a decent (not Ebay) aluminum radiator which would be one and done for the life of the car.
