Great shots @Redline. Unfortunately i arrived just as it was starting its first pass, grabbed the camera, took a few shots and then the batteries died. Then realised that the camera was on the portrait mode, doh!Love the second shot - Its so difficult to get the underside lit.
I heard it fly over (Bruntingthorpe is only 10 miles away) but couldn't see it due to cloud cover. I saw it there a few weeks ago though.

That happens to us all. I was taught to set your camera to known and familiar settings before you put it away. You know then what your starting with when you pick it up. A spare battery to three helps too. I have been taking pictures seriously for a while though.Great shots @Redline.
