Full sunshine all day in November .
So with nearly all the usual boring loose ends tied up, me and @Mrs. Bozzy decided to give the new tomtom a trial run. It has a function where it will record and store a drive. So we just made up a route as we went and sure enough it's there all stored ready for next time @Mint .
This was snapped near Tissington on the way home.

The sun was lovely but it doesn't half get in your eyes.

I love these winter drives, they're as good, if not better than summer as there's less traffic about :).

Only saw one other zed, which was a 4 parked at Tissington café.

We were up that way with the Mintys Steve, we didn't see any 3's but did see a couple of 4's.

Shame our paths didn't cross mate. We past through Longnor and kept an eye out as it's a common haunt for quite a few zedders, had something to eat at Wetton village hall and went home via Tissington.

Anyway, good to see you made the most of a lovely day .

I had an all day breakfast there last week and a bbq chicken and cheese baguette today, went down a treat :hungry:.
I'm surprised the café owners didn't tell you that a tall, handsome chap in a zed had called in before you =)).

Thanks Stevo, the sun was quite low in the sky then at about 3.30, so I couldn't avoid casting a shadow .

Great pics Steve. We did think about you while we were out yesterday, didn't realise you were at the same tea room as us:D. We found another good route, we'll have to show you:whistle:
Sounds like the new SatNag performed ok:thumbsup:

Yes I'm quite impressed with the new satnav, only problem is I can't work out how to send routes to it from tyre .
When you have a slot in that busy diary if yours, would you be able to shed some light on it for me, pretty please :D.

P.S. We're up for having a nosy at your new route .

Ah yes, it took me a while to sort that aspect out...
You have probably found out you can't connect the Tom directly to your laptop.
IIRC what you need to do is :
1. Activate a 'mydrive.tomtom' account.
2. Connect Tom to your local Internet hub, using wireless.
3. Link your Tom to the new account.
4. Link TYRE to your 'mydrive.tomtom' account.
If you would like a more practical 'hands-on' approach we'll have to sort out a meet;)

Yes, tried to connect nav to lappy with the cable and as you said, it doesn't work.
So I've managed the above steps, 1 and 2 only though. Nav is linked to the hub and has already done an update.
Just can't work out steps 3 and 4, so yes if you could cast your expert eyes upon it, l would be most grateful :).
Oh well back to work, dinner time over .

Sounds like Step 3 is ok as its done an update.
Step 4 you do in TYRE.
Click 'TomTom' on the top level menu, then 'TomTom MyDrive' and input your login details for MyDrive.

To send routes to Tom, Click 'TomTom' on the top level menu, then 'Copy to TomTom'.
See how it goes...

Help :arghh:.......followed all the steps, set up the my drive and tomtom accounts.
Select a route from the file and click copy to tomtom, either nothing happens, or a message appears saying an error had occurred .. @Mint :(.

mmmmm, quite hard to diagnose without seeing what's happening.

Have you filled in your MyDrive info in TYRE? This screen:
Capture.JPG

Then click on 'My TomTom Device' to get this screen:
Capture2.JPG

Tick the option box as above.

Open a route in TYRE and click Click 'TomTom' on the top level menu, then 'Copy to TomTom'

Yep done all that Dave, tried with the option box ticked and also with it left blank.
Strange thing is, when I select delete from tom, it picks the tom up with the two stored routes in there.
I'll try again soon.
