I'm thinking of using lanoguard or similar lanolin based rust prevention spray. Anyone got any experience of using them. They look fairly easy to apply but do they work.
My neighbour uses it and is very impressed, from what he says a little goes a very long way , can be applied in about an hour and seems to last.
Would be interested to hear your views if you decide to go for it.
I used a lanolin based rust proofer. I applied it in the depths of winter and it was really thick even after warming it up in the house and in a bowl of boiling water.
Anyway. I put it on with a brush way too thick including on the inside of the body panels. Now when we get above 30 degrees I get some oozing.
Basically use it sparingly. I’m happy with it but it’s only been on 12 months with very limited miles.
