We set off on Monday from Kendal where we had a place booked for 3 nights, Windermere was the first stop where we had a lake cruise then onto Ambleside, Grasmere and Keswick then back to Kendal.

day 2 we set off from Kendal and made our way to Haverigg where we spent a couple of hours on the beach

Went from South Shields to Windermere via Alston, Hartside and Kirkstone pass the other week, top down, great drive
