Nice clip, road between Haws & Bainbridge. What's the backing track?
Drive by Joe Bonamassa.

I used it because

1 Its called Drive
2 I quite like it &
3 Joe Bonamassa issued a 'freebie' album of a few tracks including this one. So Youtube does identify the copyright material but also identifies that it can be uploaded without infringement.

He's quite a renowned blues artist (I never knew), he's recently done a tour of the UK, dates werent quite a fit unfortunately . . .

Epic EPIC road trip @andyglym . That scenery really is spectacular, helped by pre-arranged weather, not many people get to see those views . . . The camaraderie of meeting like minded folk with a shared interest and putting some names to forum names, this trip should be on everyone's bucket list.

Lots of chat beforehand of destroying clutches and handbrakes, sub-standard roads etc. Ignore that, its really not that bad. Yes there are sections of narrow roads, being tail-end charlie of 6 cars is helpful, means others coming in the opposite direction tend to back up. Only happened a few times . . . Handbrake hill starts less than on some commutes I've had.

I suspect some photo's coming from others, I will pull a few more dashcams off, but might take me a few days . . .

RTB. What a weekend! Firstly, many thanks to @Mint and @Mrs Mint @Stevo7682 and @Mrs Stevo for leading groups two and three, legends 👏
For all those folks that made it for the weekend thanks for making the effort all worthwhile, this was without doubt the best yet, granted, it was like the Mediterranean all weekend with sunny days x 2.

No breakdowns, no lost punters and no cracked alloys, result!!!

Glad you all had a great time and see you next time. Pics to come.

Oh, for those coming next time, first one to turn that bloody Peacock into Peacock sandwiches and a nice hat gets free beer all weekend 😴

Regards

Andy (route bi**h) & Yvonne (Hotel and Admin guru)

And . . . I've just got home to find Room 114 key still in my pocket - I've never done that in my life !

I've called the Hotel and apologised, I'll go up to the Post Office when it reopens at 14h00 and post it back. The hotel confirmed theres nothing on the room bill and its fine, but if there is any come-back @andyglym then its on me with no arguments for being a doofus . . .

Always a challenge, remembering to hand room keys in. We did well.
