Keyless Entry DWA Mirror vs Alpine

I have a 2001 BMW Z3 2.5i E36 (CN33) M54 Engine Topas Blue Sand Beige Interior Black Soft top. 91K miles. Production Date 2000-10–18 Spartanburg, USA. I purchased May 24, 2021. I have researched to find about Keyless Entry the car came with no options – no DWA remote control mirror and no Alpine unit behind the glove box. It does have sticker in the trunk stating it is “Pre-wire for BMW Security System” for what that is worth? I purchase $$$ Remote 3 Button Key (51218374064) 315mhz to find the car as nothing for it to work with. I think it would work with the DWA remote control mirror if I installed one. I did purchase an Alpine Unit (82111470403 w/wring harness & Remote Fob). So here are some questions

1. What does the Pre-wire sticker mean is there a wiring plug for Alpine behind the glove box or is there a wire connection in the windshield apron behind the overhead light.
2. Which is my best choice as I am primarily only interested in Keyless entry. A. DWA mirror B. Alpine
3. Will the Remote Key work with the Alpine unit?
4. Will the Remote Key work with the DWA Mirror?
5. Is there a factory wired plug already installed for the mirror and how much work is required for installation?
6. Is there anything I am missing on the Mirror install other than just plug and play and program the key?
7. What else am I missing?
