Thanks Gary it would have been good to have you along with us, I know how you love cruises but it would have been mega miles for you. We had 8 cars that hadn't done the route before and for some of those it was their first cruise.

As you would have seen from the pictures we had Gary with the flamed Zed with us and he said he had met you at Santa Pod. He told us the story of how he came to own the car and how he was able to give it new life from the sorry state he bought it in.

See you at Silverstone in July.

It's nice when new people come along. I can still remember my first cruise, and there have been many since. Makes for a great way to see the country and meet new people.

Yes I met Gary at Santa Pod last year when browsing around the cars entered for the various competitions.

Looks like a wonderful time, the pics of the cars are great but the group shots are my personal favs even though I don't know anyone to see them. The smiles say it all. Thanks for the pics! JIM

Like the vid Ron, who has got the hardtop on?
Looks a bit like my car except I have a Weismann.
It reminds me of my first cruse, as I had not taken it off for the first two years of ownership ship and ended up driving around with forty or so Zeds on a lovely September day and stuck out like a sore thumb.

P.S. Not as bad as Bad Boy doing the exact same thing at Silverstone.

Yes HT I remember seeing a picture your Zed on that cruise you mentioned, and as you say your Zed stuck out like a sore thumb.

On our cruise the silver Zed with the hardtop belonged to Marco. There was another Zed with a hardtop on also, he said it was still on because last week he was expecting to sell it to get a Z3M.

I agree Jim, as organiser of a cruise you hope that everyone has a good time, and it was good to see smiles from the start. A lot of the group were new to cruising but all got on very well and hopefully would want to do another Zed cruise.

Glad you had a good day, I was worried the weather would be bad for you but looked a reasonable day.
Looks like you had a good close up view of the RH&DLR as it went past, brings back memories of the kids when they were small,

Like the flames on the side of the zed, reminds me of billz wheels setting on fire on a Yorkshire cruise a few years ago!
