OMG I rounded up the invoices for the current build :eek:

We've always had separate bank accounts, plus a joint house account, so I don't have to hide what I spend. Got it sorted before I said "Yes" =))

Send them to me and I'll burn them for you =))
 
Must have accidentally mixed up invoices for stuff you’ve bought for someone else :whistle:

Mate, I dare not do the sums, I thought I had done the rear beam for about £150 until I added the bits up and it was more then double :eek:
When I got it , it was not going to be a keeper but it will be with me for another 2 years until I get my pension then I am getting a propper car :ymdevil:

Got a mate who was always doing upgrades to his Lotus, whenever his wife asked how much - the stock answer was ' it only cost £30 ' :cool:

He got away with it for years, until she turned up with him one weekend at a meet and was privy to others discussing pricing :D
Now when she goes shopping she tells him - don't worry it only cost £30 !!

The thing is Sean, once you start hiding stuff, what else do you hide ? and if she finds out she'll ask what else ?? ;) :p
