Hi @eddie1!

You are welcome wherever you may have come from :) Would be nice to see some pictures if you get a chance. Shout if you have any questions, although this lot may just respond in all manner of strange ways...

Thanks Guys, I'm new to the life of Zed! loved em' for years. I was after my Bro' in laws M Roadster which he has contemplated selling three times now, over the space of three years. Building me up to buy it, then changing his mind. The last time I said sod it! and started looking at others. Initially wanting the 'M', after viewing a few pricey options which needed work. I looked at a few 2.8s, after testing a couple, I thought this is plenty of car for me. To cut a longish story short! I settled for the 1997, 2.8, Cosmos Black, beige black interior. I love this car, had a bit of body work done, 'great job too' got the wheels refurbished, and a three stage machine polish. The car looks great. I waxed it up with Chem Guys, Eco smart & 'Pete's 53 wax, just to give it a further edge. I arranged a meet with some of the other guys, and was well pleased when seven Zs rolled up, great people too! Only expected 3 or 4! On a reflective note, I'm so pleased I didn't get my Bro' in laws 'M', yes, its a very nice example, Red with black/red interior. It would have always been his car! This one is mine! ........ You know

when you love your car, when, getting out closing the door, ten paces and you look back with that contented look on your face. Yeah the cars old, 17 years, I expect trouble along the way, but that is the nature of the beast! Look forward to the site and chat & advice and attending some more meets!

Eddie1 ( or Pete to those in the know! ) This pic is pre-work done, will post a few post work later

Great to meet you Eddie (or Pete) at Gainsborough the other day. The wife and me really enjoyed it - weather could have been better!!

Hope to hang around a bit longer next time........................the hazards of arranging a meet on the last day of The Open, especially when you have a wager on McIlroy. ;-)
