Hi, bought my Z3 two months ago, 2.2L. Read some reviews saying it was underpowered and had awful handling - just not true. Intended to buy an MX 5 but loved the looks of the Z3 and bought one instead. Right decision, I now enjoy driving again.

Welcome aboard Clive. I've never heard of a Zed being a poor handler. I have a 2.8 and a forum member I see regularly has a 2.2 and he's never far behind! You have a cracking car there. May see you at some meets. Enjoy the forum.

Hi Clive and welcome from me near Lincoln. I had a 2.0 Z3 which to be fair I think needed a bit more power but handles like a dream. Never driven a 2.2 or 2.8 for that matter so I can't compare, but I will say my 3.0 Z4 doesn't lack power.

Tony.

I was after an MX5 as well...until I sat in one and struggled to get back out again, all though being over 6 foot doesn't help.
No such trouble with the zed though .
Also like you it made me enjoy driving again.
We've had ours exactly 12 months today and covered nearly ten thousands miles in it :rally:

Guys, please remember that introduction threads are purely to welcome new members. I'm confused by some of the stuff posted in here, so think what that might do to someone not familiar with the site.
