Just found this

been cleaning the inside of both Zeds and found a little storage box under the passenger seat in mine. Hadn't noticed it before. Opened it up and there's a plastic wallet with a full first aid kit in it. Looks completely unused.




Hadn't seen it in the manual but there it is. Anyone still got theirs?

Same on both Z4's I've owned. It's all out of date most likely. Not fitted to all cars as far as I remember.

Do bandages go out of date?
If its the choice between an out of date dressing or none - which would you choose?
I must have a closer look - always carry a kit but hadn't got around to getting another on the basis there wasn't a suitable place to keep it out of the way and secure. I guess I should read the manual properly sometime

I think you will find it has a date on it. But if you are stuck bleeding by the side of the road it's probably better to use one of those than a dirty scarf or the likes.

Yeah they are all dated as you say seems an odd one but all my first aid kit at work is checked monthly to check its in date.

Yeah the kits have use by dates. Mine was missing all original on ebay out of date so for same money bought the new bmw black case (and in date) First aid kit
My skoda has a fancy one out a merc which I have used some of so bag open looked at it there bandages not dated it's all the sterile pads and eye patch and the likes that are dated
