Welcome to my world! Only her Mom's in a care facility so she can't go there. Sewer line to tank froze once already and had to repair a waterline that exploded in my basement and flooded it again, but the sump pump took care of that eventually. Ran out of propane for the heater thawing the septic line Christmas Day. Everything closed, small town. All this while my son and family were here from Chile. Truth is my neighbour clears my snow for me and Trinity shovels around the cars. But, I know where that guy's coming from. Especially the snowplow bit. JIM

@Shelly, when you grow up knowing no different it's just something that's done. Much like going to work, raising your family, etc. thanks for the offer of Allan's help but it's a proven fact that shovelling snow is as natural for women as child birth. Something to do with the hip area. So, if you know of a nice young lady looking to participate in a shovelling study send her, please! I just have to figure out how I can give a placebo to keep from skewing the result. And yes that's skewing not what you were thinking. JIM

I could think of many people that would like to come over for a Holiday Jim ;)
But to shovel snow ....... :)
It might be a different story , unless you are a big strapping lad :(
Don't think my muscles would stand up to it , as I'd offer :)
But then what would Alan do with out me for a while

At the risk that we're both going to rm 101, I'm not what you would call a big strapping lad but I'm sure I could learn how to strap properly and as for Allan, you did mention he was good with his hands!! JIM
