Had a Z4 previously and decided this time to go back in time, really my wife's and daughters car. 2001 2.2 manual Roadster. It was really tidy, full history and lots spent recently, 99000 miles 9 owners. Lovely Dakar yellow paint, freshly done split rim bbs, new roof. Downside, brakes were poor, little bit of rust on the outer sills turned out to be more than stone chips with inners suffering rust. Parasitc draw from the Harmen Karden amp and blown speakers. It's up on the ramp. New brake calipers and flexi hoses all round, clutch hose changed with cdv delete as the gear change was poor. Sills rubbed back and treated, no welding required, some mesh and filler for the outers. May change them next year. Worst bit is the rear wing bracket...rusted badly but recoverable on the nearside, driverside....terrible. hasn't spread to the wings so som Krust and rub down. Drivers side needs a bit chopped out and replaced on the bracket. Weekend job. All going great, but I brokenthe rear bumper clips...trying bmw for them as some jokers on ebay want £14 each. If not I'll need a bodge..
