Hi everybody,
I just bought a 2001 Z3 2.5i Roadster from a family member who is the original owner. Mechanically, the car seems pretty sound. However, all the little things that typically go wrong, have gone wrong. Seat belt clips, glove box sag, interior door latch semi working, power convertible top has to be operated manually, heat adjustment frozen until operating for a while, light switch missing button, mirror switch missing button, torn front seat, needs new front bumper cover, needs new BMW badges, needs to be repainted.
So the car needs attention to get it back to good condition, but I'm willing to make the effort and some investment.

First question - what's the preferred parts supplier for these cars?
Second question - what to do about the torn seat? Replace the entire thing? (source for replacement?) Put a cover over it? (recommended covers?)
Third question -what links are posted to info or videos for some of the above problems?

Grateful for your support!

Hi, BMW badges are available on Ebay, buy a full set for a few ££ and easy to change. The seat might be easier to swap out with a replacement second hand one of Ebay, people break on here too.

I only buy OEM replacement badges; knock offs are cheap but don't last long.
