Hiya just a quick one. My 2nd replacement roof switch has packed in. The one on the roof itself that tells the car when the roof is shut or open for operating the roof motor.
I've had enough of replacing the switches.
If I just cut the switch out and tie the wires together it is always active, meaning I can operate the raising/lowering whichever position the roof is in.
Obviously I will only lower it after opening the front of the roof.
Is it safe to do it this way? I can't think of any reason as to why not.
Cheers
P.s sunny day need the roof down haha
