Hello everybody and thanks for letting me register. I just got my hands on a 99 Z3 Roadster. I've always liked the way all the BMW's have looked and driven. I'm very excited to actually own one now. I'll try to not do the typical noob things that most people do on these forums. I know there is a working search bar. I haven't figured it all out but I'll try thumbing through the search engine before asking a question that has been asked hundreds of times. The car does have some minor typical things wrong with a car that has spent most of it's life sitting in a dark garage vs being enjoyed, but I hope to get many of them fixed through the knowledge here and get the cosmetic things fixed so that this car will outlast me.

So yeah that's about it.

Oh, I'll have to upload a photo later. The car needs a bath.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Don't be concerned about asking questions that have been asked before, most of us on here are married so repeated explainations (or excuses) are ingrained in male DNA =))
So ask away..

Thank you everybody for the warm welcome.
I'm smack dab in the middle of the United States. Missouri to be more precise. One thing I'm having some issues with is finding a cover piece for the driver's side door trim that covers the airbag. Also the driver side door lock mechanism doesn't work. If you unlock the passenger door the actuator will unlock the driver's door but the key just spins in the lock. Any idea on how to fix that?
The picture is of the airbag cover.

Thanks again everybody! :)
