Yup Worse places to live though looking out across the Solway Firth/Isle of Man it can be brutal in the winter.

Ooh, not sure to be honest. Can't see much sub-tropical going on as it's in the middle of the Irish Sea which is brutal. Could be wrong though.

I think that might be the Isles of Scilly (off of Cornwall)

Thanks @Tearoom The island was on Friday’s Gardener’s World and looked incredible the tropical plants that grow there. None need over-wintering which is amazing in the UK.
