Hi everyone, Been out to Snetterton today for a few laps around the 300 circuit. All very enjoyable, didn't hit anything or spin, ( a guy in front of me went off just before Murray's!) but coming home noticed a judder around 80 mph. I stopped and gave the wheels a tug and they all seemed tight. I'll get the wheels balanced, but if that doesn't cure it what else could be causing it?
(OEM suspension, replaced 2 years ago)
Many thanks

Thats a head scratcher, guessing you'll have to explore what is happening, like determining what speed it happens at, does it come and go if you pass through it and go faster etc.
But, I would do a check of tire balance and suspension components as well as drive shaft & engine mounts before you start flying around looking for s shudder. Be Safe!

I`ve had similar symptoms. 1st time it was the wishbone rear(lollipop) bush that was knackered. Replaced that with poly bushes. Cured it. Last week similar symptoms but vibrating badly at 40 to 50mph. This time a sticking caliper. It was obvious because the wheel was quite warm. New caliper and it`s sorted.

Both times were nearside Dino D

Don't think I felt it through the steering, but noticed a squeal from offside (I think) rear when braking.
The juddering disappeared at 120mph

Could also be warped discs. See which wheel or disc gets warmer after a short run.

It was the right (off side) caliper on mine. The wheel was hot enough to fry an egg on it. I ended up stripping all four calipers and fitting new pistons and seals.

I am with the guys that say sticking calipers but if it's not that I would suggest maybe after a track session if you didn't cool the brakes properly and stopped maybe you got some pad material transferred to the disk and it made a pad"imprint" and now that is causing the vibration , I had a similar thing and it was very visible, it has dissapeared overtime.
