Sadly our fleet of GR9's and T10's (two seaters) are all sat in the American desert and used as spares for the US Marine Corps pilots Politics eh

It's all about comparing apples with apples. I remember being sat next to a fighter controller in Decimomanu (Sardinia) and listening to the commentary on a Hawk v Tornado dog fight. No contest as the Hawk was much better at the close in stuff so the Tornado crew would flick the throttles forward to "Combat" mode, dissappear very quickly and knock the Hawk out of the sky with an air to air weapon.

didn`t the queens flying club typhoons get a bit of a shoeing off the Indian air force recently in mock dogfights/attacks as part of a joint exercise
