hi all ,Im in need of some help/advice. Also as this is my first time asking for help I hope I’ve posted it in the correct section!

So when I’m pulling away from a stand still my car shakes quite violently, after I’m away driving is all normal through all the other gears.

The engine doesn’t appear to struggle it just gets on with it , the rpm doesn’t drop neither does it stall. just car shaking bad.

I’ve done lots of reading through the forum and online but it appears it could be down to just about a hundred different things lol , just asking in the hope somebody has dealt with a similar situation and could maybe point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance, ken.

Any judder when braking? I would give the clutch a good work out, ie. in a safe area make the clutch slip to clean the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces.

Tony.

I don’t get any judder whilst braking, I did have the clutch replaced last June but I was thinking it could be a part of the clutch assembly causing me grief!

If the judder started after the clutch was changed that's where I'd be looking. Every now and then a dodgy one will slip through and give you a hard time. Was it done by someone competent? Every now and then you meet a dodgy one of them, too.

It’s only just started shaking recently, I haven’t had any problems up until last week and I had Mr clutch replace it last summer after it started slipping.

but do you guys reckon I should get the clutch looked at sort of like a health check ?

I'd check the prop mounting and guibo first, gearbox mounts too, but if it's not them then it pretty much has to be the clutch. Was there any warranty on the clutch?
I’ll stick them on the check list and their was a warranty but I can’t remember how many miles it was for i will have to check, thanks for the pointers!!
