I am looking at putting the Z3 up on axle stands at the rear which I presume should go under the jacking points.
This leaves me with a dilema of where to jack the car up in order to get the stands in, or do I jack on the points and place the stands elsewhere.
Normally I would just run it up on my ramps but I need to remove the rear wheels.
I cant do it just on the trolly jack as I wont work under a car unless its properly supported !

Place your trolley Jack with the lifting pad under the Diff. Put a block of wood between the lifting pad and the Diff. casing and lift until you can get the stands under the cars jacking points.

Thank you
Thats how I have always done it with solid axle cars, wasnt sure just how strong the diff support/hanger is on the Z.

You needn’t worry, it is more than strong enough.

Tony.
