I feel sorry for you having such a tough job =)).
Is that a Bimota ?. Looks very cool .
I'm out of touch with bikes now, though I still love them. Haven't ruled out having another one day.

Steve.

  • Oops sorry for posting in the wrong place.
  • I had retired from all this malarkey but it seems that I am back by popular demand or more likely there is nobody else stupid enough to do it........so if any of your mates miller or anybody else with any connection to this forum will be on the island in race week can I suggest a beer at The Queens on Douglas prom one night, say provisionally Wednesday night at 8.30. If nobody else comes I will sit in a corner on my own reading the beer mat.
Yes the bike is a Bimota Tesi. Hub centre steering and suspension set harder than a very hard thing. Light as a feather and steers by thought transfer? Bliss.

Yep I'm still working over here, hard at it yesterday

But back to the proper job this morning, I'm torn in two at the moment as I can get off island for a week on the 28th as I really need to pick some panels up and stop my seats cluttering up Russell's workshop but love TT but around the week after.

If you see Steve Plater in the pits tell him Miller said to get a proper bike.hes just bought a new KTM injection to try and go faster and we keep telling him it's going to take more than the bike ;) . Seriously though he still has the fastest time over one section of the course .One of my friends is taking his two sons over for the first time I'm sure they would love a look over the lovely bimota.Would it be ok to send them over?

I just remember one of my other buddy's rode a bimota around the island about 20 years ago I think it was the only one on the island, not a good idea to get talking and drinking with him it gets messy.

Yes tell anybody over there to call in and say hello. We like messy on non race days! I will probably only be there for race week though unless anything changes in the next day or two.
