My wife is down with COVID so I have been laying low also, waiting for my turn to get it.
A nice country drive (alone) won’t hurt anyone.
During my drive through rolling hills and up to the lake my annual (2022) mileage exceeded 1000 kms. Our highest annual mileage since the early 2000s! And the year is not over.
1997 was our first year with our Z3. We logged 12000 sunny kms that year. It was brand new and so much fun!
Over the years we’ve had a BMW 325 Xi Touring and three Jeeps. The Z3 was tucked away with annual mileage usually kept between 500 and 800 kms.
So… a very good year - also one of my favorite Sinatra songs - with more drives to come before snow, salt and stupid winter drivers surface.
