20 years ago I had a 2.0 litre sraight 6 Z3 but with 2 children and my wife planning a solo trip to decorate our converted barn in France the Z3 was not able to do the school trips so regretably 18 years ago I had to sell it. I've hankered after another Z3 ever since, anyway as I'm startng semi retirement I thought now is the time. Because I have arthritus in my legs I needed an automatic and had not yet been able to clear any garage space, so when I saw a Z3 on autotrader in Minehead with avery low mileage I went and had a look and bought it. Now I'm just waiting for it to be MOT'd in a few days so I can collect it. Its a 1998 automatic 1900 with a hard top. I was a bit reluctant to go for the 1900 but my fast driving days are over and apart from that the car is in great condition for 27 years old so I hope its going to give lot of fun and at my age I can live with a 0-60 of 10.5.

Welcome aboard...
Thanks, I haven't yet got any Z parts to hoard but plenty of vinyl which could be described as a hoard, so glad that's allowed.
I've been a keen classic owner, having had a Reliant Scimiitar, Triumpth Vitesse and MG Magnette and a few others. My new Z3 even as a 1900 would probably beat most of them for speed and is now gradually becoming a classic.
