So i'm a big believer in the power of the internet to save me tons of money each year.

This is never truer than with car parts.

So i need some very simple bits for a coolant change on both my Zed and the 1 Series:

Coolant x 10 litres
De-Ionised Water x 10 litres

Euro Car Parts are nearby, but carparts4less delivery cheaply (they are owned by the same group)

Here is the price of the parts as standard on ECP website

i find car parts 4 less is usually cheaper after their regular 13% off, than ECP with their increased starting price and usual 30% off.

I just hate that they have a 'sale' every weekend. Who are they fooling?
Just keep the prices at 13% or 30% less all week and do the extra one now and again.

Always thought the extra was because CP4L is normally a postage service, whereas ECP can be collected same/next day.
However I ordered some new headlamp bulbs on sunday from ECP, said ready on tuesday, and still no sign of them
Yet I ordered some stuff from CP4L yesterday morning and it arrived today after being posted.

yeah i dont quite get it either, this stuff all turned up today so mega fast service too.

only thing i find is that sometimes you can t find things on the CP4L website. but i get the part number from ECP and then just search for that which works

I had some new wiper blades last week from Eurocarparts, they were cheaper when I looked from carparts4less even though Euro's had a massive sale on, but then Euro's popped up with a 50% off on wiper blades a few days later. Most of the time carparts4less are cheaper and even though you have to wait for delivery, the majority of the time I've had the standard economy delivery they have turned up next day. Euros are good when you need to collect and sometimes they are cheaper than carparts4less but it's always worth comparing.

Got my wiper blades from Home Bargains nearly two years ago, and still working well. £1.99 each, bargain indeed, lasted just as long as the £20 a pair Bosch ones from Halfrauds a couple of years earlier. And yes it does rain in Wales.

I've got some Bosch ones now only because I'm sick of breaking cheap ones, most of the time from leaving them up off the windscreen and turning the ignition on or hitting them with the pressure washer so they snap back on the windscreen. I'm lucky I haven't smashed the windscreen yet, I must be more careful but maybe it's the owners fault and not the cheap wipers :banghead:
