Is this for real..?

in order to get a wrap to look good the bodywork underneath must be in real good condition, however this doesn't indicate a good pain job, it could be covered in well finished filler=)) you would be a bit gutted to remove the wrap only to find it needs a re-spray (unlikely though this is:)) it says relisted due to timewasters, as we all know ebay is not the place to have hassle free sales but it may be the buyer/s did turn up and on closer inspection ran a mile. yeh sure he is selling it cheap because he is a nice guy, but in the right hands a cheap car can be made a good car too.

its an unfortunate second pic, it looks like it has some kind of weird wind brake attached to the top of the windscreen.

I need to read adds before making a comment, just read it through, seems it was a cat C, probably explains the wrap. if you plan on not selling a car then a cat C isn't really a problem, it wouldn't really bother me as I rarely sell cars, I tend to keep them till the bitter end.

forgot to mention, umm not sure if I could live with the choice of wrap, maybe it would grow on you:whistle:.

I quite like it :p
I pity the poor person who would be driving behind it though :)
Think of the glare coming of it when the sun shines :(

To me the problem with this kind of paint finish is that it is a bit like camouflage in that it obscures the actual shape. Looking at the car the original body 'design' is lost in all the pattern shapes created by the finish. If the car was one of those hideous little Audis they made some years ago or some other awful shape the finish could only improve the look, but I won't be wrapping my Z3 in any of that in the near future!

this was a supposed to be an individual colour option called 'weiße Flamme' or 'white flame' that Chris Bangle envisioned for the newly flame surfaced Z car but for some reason the BMW board never approved it..

hmmmmm couldnt think why Dino....

I think it is what it is, and maybe the owner believes just like us that his car looks great. It looks real modern graphically to me, but it's not what I would have done. Each to his own and if it's pushing the boundaries graghicly then I wouldn't knock it, don't reackon it was done to sell the car and perhaps the owner doesn't really won't to sell it only the amount of points on his licence dictates he does. I say go buy it if it's the model you want, if it's been filled to make the wrap look ok then re wrap it in the colour of your choice, if it's real nice under the wrap it's a win win. I would buy this car for my 17yr old grandaughter if she had a licence, her friends would all think just how cool she is, as would I.
