Today I went for a little drive in my ZED... It was rather cold even with the hard top on, heater on and windows up even though the sun was out... As I was chugging along wishing it was summer so I could have the roof and windows down, I had this little thought...

I wonder if you can buy a panoramic roof for the Z3... How much nicer it would be to have the sun coming through the roof as well, and the extra light would be nice too.

So fellow ZEDDERS is there such a thing?

Something for @Stormy_be to look At?? Do you want one that opens or just the clear panel moulded into a regular HT. Say, between the roof strips? Another niche in the market Koen?? Is the one in the pic manual or power HT? I've got a 77 merc 300d I'm scrapping with a power sunroof will need to have a look once it warms up in my shop for measurements. JIM

You could fit a plexiglas part between the roofstrips.
I think this would to much niche to be able to gain any profit from.
Don't forget, in most cases, you need to sell at least 2 pieces, just to be able to pay for the mould...not having any profit at that point yet, not being paid for the labor put in.....or i would need to put the pieces at a price so i wouldn't sell any ☺
It's a hard market

Regards, Koen

Turn that frown upside down Koen. Sounds like you'd sell a couple at least and once it catches on who knows where it could go! Be a pioneer and get one started! I'd offer up my HT But the shipping wouldn't make sense. I haven't checked lately in Belgium for HT's but there must be a slightly damaged one laying around collecting dust somewhere close. Notice how nicely I use up your time and money!! lol!! wish we lived closer together so I could at least help out..JIM

Manual Jim. You can get a sunroof added at any automotive shop that does aftermarket kit, its no big deal. Oh, and I think it looks bloody stupid.

@POG I had a Smart a while back, as a town runaround, and it had a panoramic roof and you used to fry your nuts off.
