i hadnt come across formula E till about last christmas, i watched the first one and thought - hey this is ace, seems really strange with no engine sound, just the amazing sound of the electric motors and how much sound comes from the tyres, this is normally drowned out by engine noise.

another interesting part of this series is how different driving styles use different amounts of energy, for instance the first 3 across the line have different amounts left in there batteries yet they all started with the same, it isn't just how hard you drive, some drivers still have about 40% left and have battled through the field just as hard as the next guy who has finished with just 10% left. and it can only get better. brilliant idea

I must admit since the engine rule change in 2014, F1 just hasn't been the same for me. I didn't realise how much the noise meant. So wish I'd made the effort to get to Monaco before it changed. :arghh: Oh well, just have to go to Historique Monaco instead!

Its racing, it should be unlimited RPM and unlimited fuel, we have test cell's for developing next years road cars!

I'll have to try the E Formula again, tried watching it once but the lack of "screaming V's" didn't do it for me. You'd have thought it would, me being an electronics engineer.

Must admit, I've been watching the FIA World Rallycross this year, looks like racing, sounds like racing and doesn't take 2 hours to get to a predictable result!

Im sure I read there will be no adverts during the race, but only 10 live shows I really don't wish to pay for it.
