Has anyone ever considered using track Armour for protecting parts of the car that seem to always get used..... Just bought a Z3M in excellent condition... I keep a roll of this Track Armour (Temporary Track Day Paint Protection Clear Adhesive Film for Car) In my trunk in case I need to temporarily put it on the front to prevent pebble damage( I'm eventually getting a PPF)...... however there are two parts of the car that I seem to rub up against every time I get in and out of the car.... One is the running board ( picture attached)....Every time I get in and out of the car my feet always rub up against this.... Just wondering if putting some of this Track Armour on their will prevent damage.......
Part of me would love to put a piece of this on the seat bolster but not sure if it would do damage.
