Hi I’m Monya, nice to meet you all, I’ve owned my beloved z3 for quite a few years now and have kept her looking great, other than some horrid person smacked her and did off!! Have to put her in to get her done again bless her.

Hi again,
Can anyone please help me out here? The alarm noise goes off but the indicators do not flash for some reason!, the passenger door doesn’t always unlock from the inside and the interior light comes on intermittently when switched to auto!! So I have to keep it in the office position! Any ideas as to any of these issues please? I have changed the large box under the glove box twice now but the indicators still do not come on when alarm is activated! Please can anyone help me?

Sounds like the switch in the door latch does not have a good contact hence the flickering interior light and alarm problem. The switch also tells the alarm if the door is open or closed.

Does it matter if it’s a drivers side or passenger side catch please? Thank you

It makes a difference, you can't fit a right side one on the left. And vice versa.

Hi again I have just found out that there is only one latch striker for the z3 and it fits both sides as identical! First 4 images are the drivers side.. and the rest are the passenger side!
Cannot see a difference

Well I’ve just changed the striker catch!! And it’s not made a blind bit of difference!! The indicators do not flash when I lock and unlock the car!, and the interior light still keeps coming on intermittently when set to automatic when door is open!! Anymore ideas please anyone??
