Morning...purchased my 1st Z3 within the last month. We are based in Ayrshire (west coast scotland). She is a 1999 registered May 2000 pre-face lift, dark green II with the 1.9 M44 engine which has covered 55k. The car has a genuine set of BMW Motorsport Alloys fitted though not standard wheels, but I do like them so not looking to change them yet. She drives well and we have covered 1800 miles already enjoying the sun with no issues. But as with any old car she does need some told...first job to attend to is the seat runner bushes and seat belt guides. What's the best repair for the seat belt guides

I like them as well....did my research and they are the genuine wheels and not the replicas...so a good find. Those wheels are from an earlier M3 model I think the were produced 1994/95

Welcome to the forum.
If I remember correctly @Southernboy used to make some "Z" shaped repair supports for seat belt brackets. Not seen him on here for some time but they may still be available.
@Andy McDonnell are there any spaces still available on the Lakes run? May be of interest to @Jock67?

Welcome!

@littlefeller makes these for the seat belt guides, if I remember right I paid around £7 for mine.

You can also do a proper repair which includes removing the seats from the car, unhooking the leather of fabric cover and attending to the seat belt guides from there.

Here's a guide for you on replacement, assuming that you have standard leather seats that aren't heated, this process will vary a bit - and should be simpler as it doesn't require the removal of the heating mechanism.
