Welcome to the Forum, Indonesia a great place to be. I worked there Dec 1997 to Jan 2003 in Sumatra on a Hallliburton/Pertamina setup as a Maintenance Superintendent based at small village called Prabumulih, the drive from the airport at Palembang to our base was a bit hair raising at times. The local work force I had was the best I encountered in my thirty odd years working oversea, so efficient and knowledgeable, nothing was too much bother. The job was an absolute hoot.

I,m off to Nusa Dua in August, again. to spend hours at the swim up bar drinking copious amounts of Bin Tang.. 
Went to Nusa Dua (a couple years before I went to Indonesia to work) for Silver Wedding celebration trip, lovely beach side Hotel. Bali was a great place to holiday.I,m off to Nusa Dua in August, again. to spend hours at the swim up bar drinking copious amounts of Bin Tang..
Wish I had a quid for every can of Bin Tang that I drank when I worked over there in Sumatra It was the normal evening session on the bungalow patio after work putting the world to rights.
